Technical Manager

This is a leadership role at the heart of our team. You will be reponsible for managing, shaping, training and mentoring the pre and post sales technical teams to ensure that we provide exceptional services and exceed the expections of our demanding customers and partners.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have a wide understanding of the IP video market, its key customers and technology areas, and can build deep and broad relationships with customers at all levels. They should then work with our customers to develop solutions to meet their needs, and work with our current and potential future technology partners to influence roadmaps and design solutions to meet market requirements.

The candidate will be flexible with a can do attitude and the ability to take ownership of issues and lead and collaborate internally and externally to resolve these issues. They should have a hunger to exceed targets, contribute to overall profitability and to enhance the positive image of Techex in the marketplace.

The candidate will be part of Techex’s extended management team and will be expected to contribute and influence the direction the company’s business develops in.
Responsibilities
  • Department and team management and leadership
  • Responsible for career and technical skills development of engineers in the team
  • Responsible for exceptional quality of all technical output; pre-sales, commissioning & support
  • Understand the business environment, broadcast market and other related verticals and be conversant with latest technology trends and competitor activities
  • Overall management of projects and support, assignment of resource, identifying and mitigating risks, and act as main customer interface on progress and escalation
  • Regularly report progress and issues to MD

Principal Consultant

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have a wide understanding of the video market, its key customers and technology areas, can identify, target and build deep and broad relationships with customers at all levels. They should then work with our customers to develop solutions to meet their needs, and work with our current and potential future technology partners to influence roadmaps and design solutions to meet market requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend trade shows and conventions, speak at conferences and produce technology/white papers as required to promote Techex in our industry

Network Video Engineer

Techex is looking for engineers to join our customer facing technical team. In our technical team, it is essential that you have:

Developer

We are looking for developers with a difference. A project developer will need:

Logistics Coordinator

The Company is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Operations team. You will be delivering high levels of service to our customers and people. You should be friendly, hands-on, keen to learn using your own initiative and be able to work well with others with a positive approach at all times. You should have a hunger to exceed expectations and enhance the positive image of Techex in the marketplace. Responsibilities
Inventory Control
  • Responsible for organisation and security of stockroom
  • Managing purchasing and inventory of consumables – batteries, cables, etc
  • Assisting Operations Director with monthly stocktake and transaction cut-off
  • Managing internal inventory movement ensuring transactions are properly recorded and documented
  • Manage the disposal of obsolete inventory, including WEE compliance
Shipping Control
  • Acts a receiving point for all deliveries – stock, returned loan kit, RMAs, etc
  • Packing goods for shipment, raising shipping documentation including commercial invoices
  • Managing purchasing and inventory of packaging materials – boxes, airway bill envelopes, UPS boxes & bags etc
  • Booking in of inventory receipts on internal systems (Exchequer/Demo System)
  • Notification of inventory delivery or status changes to Technical/Operations
  • Review and approval of courier invoices and query resolution
  • Managing customs clearance requests and documentation
Loan Stock Management
  • Ensure all loan stock is accurately processed on the Loan/Demo system
  • Manage the physical location and custody of loan stock on Techex premises
  • Administration of manufacturer loan agreements ensuring timelines are adhered to
RMA Administration
  • Generation of Techex RMA as directed by Technical
  • Control and processing of faulty returns as directed by Technical
  • Processing and administration of advance replacements and repaired items ensuring internal systems are updated
Other
  • Facility administration and management as required
  • Ad-hoc tasks may be assigned by members of the Techex team

Sales Administrator

We expect our sales team to be the face and voice of Techex, be intimate with our competencies, passionate about the technology we work with and masters of detail. Responsibilities
  • Deal with incoming phone calls and emails from customers via Sales hotline/inbox and managing referral as required to appropriate Techex sales contact
  • Take and pass on sales leads to correct sales account manager
  • Deal with and manage all inquiries/orders that are received direct from our Website
  • Determine availability of equipment with Operations to communicate delivery dates to customer
  • Provide standard acknowledgement of orders and delivery details to customer
