NCast Announces the NWay Flash Server
Sunnyvale, CA – June 12, 2009 – NCast Corporation, the inventors of the Telepresentation technology, today announces the NWay Flash Server, that enables live and archived streaming to Flash players.
The NWay Server is a low-cost, easy-to-install archive server, that complements the capabilities of the Telepresenter®. The NWay Flash Server is the newest product-line in this family suite that provides flash playback capabilities.
Adobe states Flash is available on virtually all Windows platforms, so the NWay Flash Server enables Windows and Macintosh users to view live or archived streams without any special software downloads to their laptops, desktops, iPods, or portables.
Underlying NCast’s implementation is the Telepresenter M4’s high performance H.264 encoder. H.264 is the emerging industry standard for Internet streaming and webcasting. The Telepresenter M4 encodes presentation content for use with the NWay Server.
