Exterity unveil new blade based IPTV Encoder
Exterity IPTV Encoder BladeThe new Exterity IPTV Encoder is a blade based MPEG-2 encoding module. The encoder allows devices such as a digital camera, satellite set-top box or DVD player to be streamed as a channel on the building’s IP network.

Working in standard definition (SD), the IPTV encoder has a variety of video input options including Composite, S-Video and RGBS.
Only available in the new blade format, the encoder is compatible with the hot-swap Prodaptor chassis. For smaller installations a single encoder (idaptor style) and 3 encoder (tridaptor style) hot-swap chassis are available.
The channels generated by the IPTV encoders can be viewed using an IPTV receiver or a networked PC using a streaming video client application such as Exterity’s avediaCentre.
