A medical research organisation is using Mediphan MedRecorder to assist in its evaluation of high-definition endoscopic camera systems. This image capturing and recording solution enables the organisation's researchers to capture and store images from various machines in order to perform side-by-side comparisons.
"Our engineers use MedRecorder to store VGA and DVI medical images, as well as to help process the images using different software programs that can pick up what may be missed during a visual assessment. It allows us to save recordings either as videos or DICOM images and access them through very comprehensible web-based user interface. We also appreciate the fact that no software is required for MedRecorder," explains one of the organisation's spokespersons.
Once they had discovered the MedRecorder, she says, "We did not seriously consider any other systems, since this recording device met all of our needs. With this device video capture and recording can be performed at high frame rates."
