Techex awarded TV head-end refresh at Scottish Parliament
IP video specialists Techex have been awarded the contract for upgrading the TV distribution system at the Scottish Parliament building in Holyrood.
The contract comprises upgrading an existing internal television platform to high definition and provision of an electronic programme guide amalgamating both internal and external channel information. The new system will include downlink equipment, encoding, multiplexing/PSI regeneration and RF modulation.

The new system is expected to go live in mid-2016.
